Fruit of The Spirit - PeacePeace is defined in the dictionary as: freedom from any strife or dissension, freedom of the mind from annoyance, distraction, anxiety. A state of tranquility or serenity. Silence and stillness.

First and foremost in order to have the Peace of Christ we must first make Him our Savior for without Him you cannot have peace. Jesus is our Shar Shalom (Prince of Peace)

Sometimes the hurts of life like hear breaks, rejection, and disappointments can weigh us down. But the peace of God transcends all of these weighty things in life. God gave us His word full with promises of Peace, the word of HaShem (God) is filled with soothing words of peace assuring us of His love that brings peace.

He told us in John 14:27 (NKJV) “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” That’s the reassurance that His peace is not of this world but it’s heavenly. In this world we have no peace without Christ.

Peace is Yeshua’s continual gift to us via His Holy Spirit. God gives us peace even in the darkest moments of our lives; you can have peace when everyone else around you is falling apart. All we have to do is approach Him with confidence and then receive His Peace with a thankful and grateful heart.

Abba told us in Philippians 4:6-7 & 19 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Again we see here that we cannot have Peace without Yehsua, we have to remember this at all times. Peace begins and ends with Yeshua.

We need Yeshua’s Peace every moment of our life and in order for us to have this peace we have to continually practice His Presence. God encourages us to “Seek peace and pursue it.” Psalms 34:14

If you have trouble sleeping hold on this promise “I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.” Psalm 4:8. Our peace for our safety comes when we put our trust entirely in the Lord’s protection.

Psalm 119:165 says “Great peace have they who love Your law, and nothing can make them stumble.” When we fill our hearts with God’s word, we are filling it with His peace. God promises to keep us in perfect peace when we keep our minds on Him (Isaiah 26:3) When we keep our minds on Yeshua and we put our complete trust in Him we will have Perfect Peace in our heart, mind, spirit and soul. YHWH’s Peace can be our portion at all times and in all circumstances and situations.

“The LORD gives His people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace.” Psalms 29:11

May the Peace of Yeshua (Jesus) shine upon you, in such a powerful way that you would not be unable to notice how weak or strong you are feeling right now. May it cause you to be so focused on Him that the things of Heaven become more a reality to you than your present situation. I prayer, that the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way, as you allow the peace of Christ rule in your hearts every day and all day long. Abba I prayer that You, the God of hope fill your people with all joy and peace as they trust in they You. In Yeshua’s name. Amen!

I close with saying:
“Grace and shalom to you from God our Father and from the Lord Yeshua the Messiah,” Galatians 1:3 CJB
