Nehemiah 8:10 says “Don’t be sad, because the joy of the LORD is your strength.” So we know from this verse that the Fruit of Joy of the Holy Spirit is where we can draw our strength in our times of weakness, so now we know that it is vital for us to allow the Fruit of Joy to bubble over in us sometimes so that our Christian Brothers and Sisters can draw from that joy so that it can give them strength and encouragement in times of need.
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
1 Peter 1:8-9
“Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” ==>What joy it is to KNOW Christ and what GREATER Joy it would when we see Him Face to Face!
“If you obey my commands, you will remain in My love, just as I have obeyed My Father’s commands and remain in His love. I have told you this so that My joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”
You yourselves can confirm that I did not say I was the Messiah, but that I have been sent ahead of him. The bridegroom is the one who has the bride; but the bridegroom’s friend, who stands and listens to him, is overjoyed at the sound of the bridegroom’s voice. So this joy of mine is now complete. He must become more important, while I become less important.
Fullness of Joy:
In John 15:1-11 Jesus tells us that He is the vine and we are the branches and the Father is the vinedresser and we are to stay in Him. If we live by His instructions He said that we would have the fullness of His joy that our joy would be overflowing. How many of us need to have the fullness of the Lord’s Joy operating in our lives right now, well all we have to do is follow His instructions in John 5 verses 1-11. In His Presence is Fullness of Joy
Remember the Joy of the LORD is your strength even when it seems like everything is coming against you, you should be saying “still, I will rejoice in ADONAI, I will take joy in the God of my salvation.” Habakkuk 3:18 CJB in Luke 6:22-23 Jesus told us that when we are hated and ostracized that we should dance for joy because in heaven our reward is great.
Even Jesus was filled with the Joy of the Holy Spirit in Luke 10:21 where it says “At that moment he was filled with joy by the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit)”
My prayer for you is that God, the source of hope, fill you completely with joy and shalom as you continue trusting, so that by the power of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) you may overflow with hope. In Jesus name!
