Help! My Prayer Group Has Flaked Out! by Alice Smith

Corporate prayer loses its effectiveness when intercessors get off track. Here’s how you can stay in the flow of the Holy Spirit. As I walked down the corridor toward the large prayer room, several women rushed past me in a panic. They had been praying with more than 50 intercessors from various denominations for pastors in the United States. Eager to find out what was happening, I hurried into the room.

Praying CatAn unbelievable sight met my eyes. Lying on the floor in the middle of the room was a woman intercessor, curled up in a fetal position and groaning as though she were being tortured. Crouched over her was a male intercessor, who was stroking her hair and speaking words of encouragement.

Standing around “the entertainment” were dozens of intercessors—watching. No one was praying now. Their faces revealed many emotions: Some were in shock; others didn’t know what to think; most were simply disgusted.

Asked to correct the situation, I bent down, asked the man to move away and softly whispered into the intercessor’s ear: “Please stop what you are doing. This is not the way the Holy Spirit would lead.”

Gruffly the woman turned her head toward me and growled, “This is the Holy Spirit.”

These kinds of activities are becoming too common in prayer rooms across the nation. If the prayer movement does not establish biblical boundaries and acceptable corporate conduct within the next few years, the work of prayer could be drastically derailed.

Here are some of the flaky intercessory activities with which we should be concerned:

1. Competition in prayer.
Moses’ and Aaron’s authority to lead was challenged by Korah and his band with the argument, “You take too much upon yourselves, for all the congregation is holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them. Why then do you exalt yourselves above the assembly of the Lord? So when Moses heard it, he fell on his face” (Num. 16:3).

Notice Moses’ answer to Korah and his rebellious associates: “Hear now, you sons of Levi: Is it a small thing to you that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to Himself, to do the work of the tabernacle of the Lord, and to stand before the congregation to serve them; and that He has brought you near to Himself, you and all your brethren, the sons of Levi, with you? And are you seeking the priesthood also? Therefore you and all your company are gathered together against the Lord” (Num. 16:8-11).

Intercessors have a unique position. We are called to draw near to the throne, hear the voice of God and stand on behalf of others. We who occupy this position should set an example of love, grace, mercy and humility.

Yet I find that among intercessors there is sometimes strife, jealousy and competition, just as there was among Korah and his band. In some cases, the prayer room resembles the New York City stock market trading floor, with each participant trying to pray more frequently, prophesy longer and shout louder than the others do.

Why the spiritual tug of war?

No doubt about it—all intercession is war! But like all of life, intercession has its ebbs and flows. Our friends would wonder about Eddie and me if, after three decades of marriage, we were passionately kissing every time they saw us in public. You might see this type of thing in the movies, but meaningful, real-life relationships are developed in private. Eddie and I don’t need to impress anyone or prove our love to others. Our outward displays of affection are merely an indication of an already secure and stable private relationship.

There are times when, in the heat of battle, the corporate prayer room seems intense, loud, demanding and pushy. After all, Scripture says the violent take the kingdom by force! (See Matt. 11:12). But constant warfare should not be the way every prayer time is handled.

Effective, sincere corporate prayer should reveal all the attributes of God—His gentleness, His tender mercy, His unconditional love and His burden for the lost. There are times when the group will experience total silence before God. At other times, a deep travail for the condition of lost souls will be felt. Joy, expressions of love and celebration should occur occasionally among the intercessors. To reduce group prayer to anything less reveals our immaturity in the private place before God.

2. Emotionalism.
Our emotions are a part of our soul (mind, will and emotions). They were given to us by God to serve His purposes. But to function properly, they must be brought under His dominion. Paul instructs us, “Since then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts [emotions] on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things” (Col. 3:1-2, NIV).

Our emotions are as flexible and undependable as an elastic measuring tape. One minute we feel happy; the next, we’re sad. We can have a wonderful time of intimacy in prayer, and in five minutes be yelling at our child for spilling milk on the carpet. Emotional expressions are not necessarily an indication of either the presence, or the lack of the presence, of God.

Amazingly, some corporate prayer groups base their entire prayer time on emotions. Hebrews 11:1-2 tell us, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it [faith] the elders obtained a good testimony.” It is faith that moves the heart of God, not emotion.

By faith the elders obtained a good testimony. Yet some of these giants of the faith were tortured, jeered at and flogged, while others were chained and put in prison. They were stoned, sawed in two and put to death by the sword (see vv. 35-37).

Most of these mighty men and women didn’t flinch when they were mistreated, misunderstood, persecuted or left destitute. Hebrews 11:38-39 (NIV) says of them, “The world was not worthy of them…These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised.” Their mind-set was one of faith, not feelings.

God knows I am emotional. Eddie calls me radical. In his book Help! I’m Married to an Intercessor (Regal) he describes me in his own terms:

“Alice is radical about everything! This woman would rather watch the Houston Rockets professional basketball team play than eat. She was a cheerleader in school when her father was the football coach. Alice is a Dallas Cowboys football fanatic as well. When the Cowboys game is being televised, everything at our house comes to a screeching halt.

“Now, I like football. I tend to watch the game casually from my recliner. I drink coffee, read the paper and talk on the phone during the game.

Not her! Alice watches the game on her feet—even in our living room! Pacing, lunging, warning and encouraging the players and coaches, my radical wife is not bothered at all that they can’t hear a word she’s saying!”

Being radical is not bad as long as you work to maintain balance in all areas of your life.

3. Inappropriate behavior.
Intercessors have a responsibility to represent the Lord both inside and outside the prayer room. We need to learn that that which is biblical is not always appropriate. Ongoing “weird” activity in the prayer setting is likely to be soulish, if not demonic.

An undisciplined mind confuses soulishness and spirituality, allowing the soul to rule over the spirit. An unruly mind has to be “renewed day by day.” The apostle Paul reminds us: “Be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit” (Eph. 5:18, KJV).

To be filled with the Spirit is to exercise the qualities of the Holy Spirit. What are they? “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law” (Gal. 5:22-23).

Egrates, the Greek word for temperance, is translated “self-control.” The Holy Spirit will not control you. You must control you!

One form of inappropriate behavior I am concerned about is an alarming manifestation I will call “ecstasy.” This manifestation is misdiagnosed as travail, but it is not genuine godly travail. When it occurs, a glazed expression forms on the intercessor’s face, and he or she voices utterances resembling expressions of sexual gratification. I have actually seen intercessors positioned in a manner that suggests a sexual act is happening.

Beware, women! We must ask the Lord for spiritual discernment concerning such matters. Proper travailing prayer will not cause physical arousal.

Dutch Sheets makes an interesting point about travail in his book, Intercessory Prayer (Regal):

“First, I believe biblical travail is an important, if not essential, part of intercession for the lost. Second, I don’t believe it is defined by groaning, wailing, weeping and hard work. Natural travail certainly is, and spiritual travail can include these things. I do not believe, however, it must include them, and I’m convinced it is not defined by them.”

Dutch goes on to define travailing intercession. It is “a form of intercession that releases the creative power…of the Holy Spirit into a situation to produce, create or give birth to something.”

Not long ago at a conference, I called for repentance by all intercessors who had ever experienced false travail such as I have described. One woman who came forward for prayer told me that she was a seasoned intercessor who had been praying for over 20 years. But recently she went to a conference where a person laid hands on her for impartation. Impartation is right!

After that incident, whenever she tried to pray she would see Jesus as her lover and experience a physical orgasm. She had opened herself to a false spiritual experience she did not ask the Lord about first. At the conference she received deliverance from the evil spirit that had seduced her.

It is clear that we must be discerning. Ephesians 5:15-16 tell us to “walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil” (NKJV).

Evil or not, these are exciting days in which to live, for spiritual awakenings are being seen throughout the earth. I pray we see one here in the United States! To help bring this about, we must be committed to maintaining our credibility in prayer. Decide now to keep a spiritual eye on what’s going on in the prayer room and be a Spirit-led—not a flaky—woman of prayer.

Chuck D. Pierce: IRS Tax Issue Prophesied! Amazing!!! Enter Into Releasing the Sounds of Supply! Pentecost is NOW!

Current word from the Lord – sent by Chuck D. Pierce on May 16, 2013:

This is a wonderful week to celebrate! We have pressed 50 days from Passover to Pentecost, and now is the time to celebrate the provision of the Lord!

Pentecost is a time to give with a joyful heart! If you were with us on Sunday morning, you heard the word that the Spirit of God had me release:

“I created you and I gifted you so you could be given to others. Do not withhold! Do not withhold! For this will be a day that I will reach My hand in and flip open that oil well that has been shut within you. There are wells to be released within you, and if you are willing to pour out, I am willing to open up. Now is a time for you to give away what you have never seen that you had to give! I will reveal to you how I created you to give!

This was such a powerful word, and I believe in days ahead the Lord is going to lead us to give in ways we’ve never imagined we could give. This will go far beyond checks or cash gifts, and into creative releases of giving that reflect the diversity of our God!

IRS Tax Issue Prophesied from Middletown, OH, to Chicago, IL, to Manahawkin, NJ, to Denton, TX, to Jekyll Island, GA:

For several years we have prayed and asked the Lord about the Internal Revenue Service. We actually went on a prayer journey in 2005 to Jekyll Island, where the Federal Reserve System was birthed. See how the Lord began to speak about the shaking of the IRS! Here is what we have heard:

May 3, 2012 at Reigning Church Conference in Middletown, Ohio:

And the Lord would say, “The wind has shifted tonight in Middletown, Ohio. In the midst of this nation there is a movement of wind in the tops of the mulberry bushes. The trees are beginning to speak. The trees are clapping their hands and rejoicing that the earth is now shifting and creation has cried out for things to change! I have come to release and to relieve you of the burden you’ve been carrying.

As the wind blows, My People will come from behind and overtake the enemy who has captured the last ten decades of this nation. Go back ten decades from this place in this nation and you will see how the enemy captured plans that I ordained to happen. Your bloodline will come alive and no longer say, ‘Will we remain captive?’

“Sounds and worship that was captured in one season will now be released! Hear the sound of the overturning of the tables in My tabernacle! Within My synagogues and within My churches, and within My gatherings the tables of last season are now being overturned. Where My people were held captive one way to be ruled, now they are coming out from under that captivity.

“Hear the sound that is coming. This is a sound of revolt that will change the tax structure of this nation. The tax structure of this nation now will attempt to raise its head to rule in an unlawful way! Just as I caused King Uzziah to die when he raised his head, I will destroy that that tries to rule My Church wrongfully in days ahead.”

May 28, 2012 at Truth and Deliverance Conference in Chicago, Illinois:

I had a significant dream as I was going to Chicago. I knew this dream was linked with our nation. I knew the dream had great significance since our President was from Chicago.

In the dream the Lord took me down into the sewage structure of Chicago. Rats were in a council. The rats were holding court in the sewer. They had a gavel. They had robes. They were gathered like a society and holding court in the sewage system. They were plotting, and they were planning. I felt like it had been hours, watching and listening to their plotting. All of a sudden the rat with the gavel saw me. He commanded the whole group to move toward me and remove me from watching. They turned to lunge on me and that’s when I awoke. Here is what the Lord says about this dream:

“There’s a plot going on deep in the heart of this city that will affect this nation. He brought me to Chicago to decree what was happening in the nation. “This plot is linked into judicial government. Because of [the] worshipping [in] this gathering, I will now expose the plot.” The rats are plotting to stop the Kingdom movement. This was like a cartoon where animals had faces and they knew how to talk but represented something else.

YieldThe rats are plotting down deep in this city with judicial government that will hinder God’s people and His movement in this nation in days ahead. They were plotting to use tax and debt structures to hold back God’s plan of advancement.

They were plotting through the present tax structure of the United States. They were using unrighteous strategies set against God’s people to bring the entire next move of God and God’s people into captivity, so that they are held in control to tax structures that are illegal and unjust!

This plot is trying to take root to hold back the move of God for the next season. This is going to get exposed and be broken and God’s people are going to advance. The council of Hell has been exposed by the Spirit of God, by the Blood of Jesus! What was being counseled against you is now exposed. Even the President will acknowledge this structure and say, ‘NO’!

February 21, 2013 in Manahawkin, New Jersey:

“This will be the most unprecedented year of change in Delaware. (The first state in our nation – for what happens in the first is a key to what happens in the nation!) This will be a key over the redoing of tax structures (in the nation), and rearrange the way tax structures are moving” (in the nation).

“Do not prophesy to maintain how things presently exist. For ‘whom the bell tolls’ is over Delaware! (This was a key book/movie about the Spanish resistance and strategically blowing a bridge in perfect timing.) Watch Me redo so much of what has not been redone so that My People are freed up to enter into a freedom that they have never experienced.” (Note: the Vice-President is from Delaware!)

January 25, 2010 in Denton, Texas:

“I’m changing the tax structure now. I’m setting you ahead of the tax structure to expose what needs to be exposed that is illegal. Do not keep looking for April and enter into a disagreement or an agreement with what you have known. I am starting a work now to change the tax structure of this land! I will rise up and surprise those that will reform this structure! The unjust burden that has been upon My people will now begin to shift in a new way.”

June 2005 in Jekyll Island, Georgia:

In June, 2005, we went to Jekyll Island to pray where the Federal Reserve was conceived.

The Lord began to speak, Satan has a plan. But I AM convening this meeting, so you can shift things in the economic heart of this nation right. Now I’m going to give you strategies to reverse the debt and tax structure that would hold My people captive. I’ve brought you here because a government was formed in this place. This government was illegally formed and has controlled governments of the earth. You have matured in My government in a way that you can decree from a governmental place, a shift to change the course of the civil government. I have gathered you! I have convened you! I have placed you to release what needs to be released at this time.

The pillars of the IRS and Federal Reserve System will now shake! I will ordain you as Samson was ordained, only you will be wise enough not to be seduced and have your strength removed.

I will ordain you now to tear down the pillars that are holding in place the enemy’s plan to control the My building of what I have planned to build in the future. I have brought you here to push, and as you push, things will change.”

This is happening now!

“Manifested Breakthrough” – God’s Desire by Mike Bachelder

An Overused Word

I have always been one for shying away from buzzwords and overused expressions that many use amongst the Body. But I believe the use of the word “breakthrough” is more than just a buzzword because it is something that God is trying to release to His people.

A few of the dictionary definitions of the word “breakthrough” are: “an offensive thrust that penetrates and carries beyond a defensive line in warfare” and “the act or instance of breaking through an obstacle.”

Breakthrough Illustrations

A Breakthrough of Water: The main idea for breakthrough comes from the breakthrough of water from 2 Samuel 5:20: So David went to Baal Perazim (which means “possessor of the breaches” that carries the idea of “the Lord who possesses the breach, or point of breakthrough”) and David defeated them there; and he said, “The LORD has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.” The breakthrough of water is like a crack in a dam that continues to grow wider and wider.

• A Troop and a Wall: The next illustration of breakthrough is from 2 Samuel 22:30: “For by you I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.”

• Breaking through City Gates: Another picture of breakthrough is when a walled city is under siege and the opposing army is breaking the gates down with a battering ram. A battering ram is thrust forward time after time until ultimately the gates burst open. The importunity of intercession can be likened to constant and continual calling out to God until the point when the answer comes. In days gone by, this was known as “praying through.”

Mountain climb – Refusing to give up. In Galatians 6:9, we read, “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

When I was a young man I climbed a 10,000 foot mountain with some friends of mine. Towards the top, it got very difficult and one of my friends turned back. He was unaware that we were only five minutes from the top. He missed out because he gave up too soon. Let’s not give up because we could be just moments from the point of our breakthrough.

Manifested Breakthrough

Now, I’d like to share with you what I believe to be one of the most powerful aspects of the nature of breakthrough. It is what I call “Manifested Breakthrough.” Manifested breakthrough is not just God breaking into a situation from one direction, but it is God placing Himself in the very center of what needs to change and then manifesting His power, presence and glory. It truly is, “If God be for us and who can be against us” (Romans 8:31).

The word breakthrough comes from the Hebrew word “perets” which means “To break out.” In the areas that we are believing God for breakthrough in, we should also believe Him to break out from the very center of the situation. Zephaniah 3:17 declares “the Lord thy God in the midst of you is mighty.” In this verse the word midst means: the nearest part, that is, the center; the word mighty means: a powerful, warrior champion.

The Lord wants to come as a powerful, warrior champion to show Himself strong in the midst of all hindrances, obstacles and blockades that the enemy has erected to stop the flow of God’s purposes.

Just like in the epicenter of a nuclear bomb or the flashpoint of a volcano, resistance in every direction is obliterated. Whether it’s breakthrough in physical healing, financial provision, relationship issues or any number of areas, God’s desire is to bring manifested breakthrough.

Biblical Examples

• The Battle of Jericho: The victory in Jericho was not the result of an advancing army breaking into the gates of the city. It was as God’s people obeyed and followed His strategy that breakthrough came and the victory was won. Jericho had two walls, an inner and outer, with a combined thickness of 18 feet. I’m sure that the inhabitants of Jericho never imagined that these walls would be breached, let alone be destroyed altogether in a moment of time. Our God is well able to bring breakthrough in the midst of impossible situations.

• The Manifested Power of the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit, the most powerful force in the universe, is very active on Planet Earth today. We often do not think of His power as being the exact same power that raised Jesus from the dead.

The declaration of Romans 8:11 is this: “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” We need to believe God and ask Him for the release of Holy Spirit power – the power of the resurrection in our lives.

Scripture also says that the anointing breaks the yoke. Many Believers these days are walking around with heavy yolks of everything from religious expectations to orphaned thinking and condemnation. God’s desire is to manifest breakthrough to obliterate yolks by the anointing (Isaiah 10:27).

• Jesus Calming the Sea: There are times that the manifestation of breakthrough is going to come in the release of great peace into a situation.

In Mark 4, Jesus stood in the midst of a storm that the disciples thought was life threatening. In the midst of that storm He declared, “Peace, be still” (verse 39).

It’s interesting that the response of the storm was not to just ease up a bit, but the Bible says, “the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” I believe God wants to bring great calm into the many storms of life that we face. Even if the circumstances of that storm do not change immediately, we can still receive “a great calm” deep inside our hearts.

There are many other examples of manifested breakthrough in the Bible. It seems that God has always been about winning great victories for and through His people.

Looking Forward

I believe in the days ahead we are not only going to see marked increases in the release of signs, wonders and miracles, but also manifested breakthrough in this sudden release of God’s power in impossible situations that need to change.

Let’s pray for this, let’s believe for this, and let’s contend for this.

Now Suffocation Is Coming To An End by Kim Clement

Free From Suffocation

April 24, 2013 – From The Matrix:

If you’ve been suffocating at night, if it’s been difficult to breathe – how many would relate to that? If anybody has found the last few nights that you’ve had bad dreams, nightmares, you find it difficult to breathe, you woke up anxious…I want you to know it’s the end of an era of the spirit of pythos. If you have had bad dreams, if you’ve had suffocation or you feel like you’re suffocating and you’ve woken up anxious, very anxious, don’t worry. It’s the force that is desperate, trying to control your finances, your love, your relationships, your children – and that spirit of pythos is coming down. Not only do I say it with faith – I prophesy it, because we spoke it a few months ago, and I want you to know that that is what is happening.

If you’ve been experiencing this (I experienced it last night…I woke up battling to breathe), if it happens to you, don’t worry about it. You have spiritual warfare and you have the power to overcome this thing, but you also have a prophetic word about what’s going to happen at the end of this hundredth day. You’re going to sense the presence of God and the end of pythos, which means we’re entering into the month of May free from suffocation. Believe it or not, take that as a word and a sign for you – summer is coming!

I want you to know, there’s a global outpouring about to take place, and God looks at the Church, ecclesia, to see what they are doing. Judgment begins in the house of God, then He decides how He’s going to deal with the nation; [but] He looks at the Church first.

We’ve got to stop these silly pity parties, because it just takes you to a place of no vision, and that is what the prophetic is for – to give you insight and vision as to what’s about to happen.

Everything we spoke about since November of last year is coming to pass – even tragedies that are happening; [but] “out of the bitter will come something sweet.” We’re coming to the end of this 100-day period where He promised that the eggs of the python would be destroyed and that we would be entering into a new era of economic growth and spiritual growth first of all – and watch what happens. It doesn’t matter if you don’t like Obama and his administration. God said, “I’m going to take charge because of what My people dictate, what My people say. If My people say blessing, I will bless. If My people say cursing, I won’t curse.”

There you go. God wants to bless, but He’s looking for an occasion to bless and the occasion of the people of God that have prophetic insight who speak it out. It’s not just a matter of being positive. It’s a matter of saying, “This is what I have seen and I refuse to say anything else than what I’ve seen.”

It’s the End of a Season: Rejoice! Breathe Deeply!

The Spirit of God has just said to me that, “The people that are watching need to understand that I cast a mantle upon this generation. I’ve cast a mantle of truth upon these people that would say yes to the Spirit of God. It is time for you to realize that the strangulation is not against you but against the spirit of pythos, which is divination.”

What is that spirit?

There are spirits, there is darkness that is endeavoring to cover the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Europe, and all over the world…

And God said, “It is not possible for it to happen if My people would rise up and take charge against the spirit of divination, which is lying – telling a lie about Me. It is misrepresenting Me. I am strangling it Myself. As the people of God realize it is the end of a season, I want you to rejoice; I want you to take a deep breath now.”

This is the word of the Lord – now. Take a deep breath! Blow it out!…

…This is a spiritual action; this is a prophetic action. You’re doing it like the prophet who lay on his side; the prophet who ate the scroll. Do it now! Breathe in three times and breathe out. This is the word of the Lord. We didn’t know what was going to happen because He didn’t want to tell me first.

Breathe deeplyThe power of strangulation, the power of suffocation is coming to an end. You say, “Kim, I’ve heard that before.” But those who believe it, those who believe it, shall have it.

How do I strangle this force? By saying the word of the Lord that has been spoken: It is your end; it is your end. I am going to breathe. My finances will breathe, my relationships will breathe, my spiritual life will breathe, my soul will breathe. I will breathe, my family will breathe. We will breathe freely because the breath of God is upon us now. Now Lord, I take authority over that one more time. I want you to breathe in – take a deep breath, everybody. Now breathe out!

Like Jesus said, the wind blows where it wants to. No man can predict and say where it should go, which direction it should go.

Wind of the Spirit, come, breathe, because that is what you came to do. There was a sound of a mighty rushing wind on that day of Pentecost, the day we approach, where once again the Spirit will breathe upon His people. Now, Lord, free every person that has sensed a force of suffocation.

Today I release them from that suffocation. You may say, “Kim, I’ve got lung problems.” Take it now; if it’s physical, take it now. I mean this. I’m ministering a word from the Holy Spirit to you. There is breath available; it’s around you, it’s in your house. I told you there would be a sign. There will be wind blowing outside. You’ll sense something now. I’m not making this up. Raise your hands; close your eyes. For every person that has suffered some time of suffocation, strangulation, battling to breathe in whatever area it is in their lives – barrenness, whatever it is (this month of April), You promised us You would open it up.

As we come to the end of it, Lord, open up the spiritual lungs, the lungs of the soul, and breathe now. Close your eyes. Breathe upon each one right now.

It’s On Its Way!

He sprung a surprise on me and started giving me the word about now suffocation is coming to an end. I’ve said that before in my teachings, and it has in individual’s lives, but this is more of a Kingdom word, a national word, a global word for the people that have been struggling and suffocating, if you wish. That’s the spirit that we’re dealing with now. God sent His word, but He’s gone through all these different things to you. If somebody sends a package from Europe to you and there’s a storm, and the flight has to be delayed – you might say, “How can you relate that to God?”

Why not? The angel had a word for Daniel, and the angel came 21 days after Daniel had fasted; the angel got there on the 21st day. But he said to him, “From the day that you set your mind to understand and to pray, the Lord heard you.” That was 21 days prior to that, [but] the angel got there 21 days later. I feel a word coming to me about this – that that word, that desire, that promise, that thing that you’ve prayed for is on its way. But the angel said to him, “The Prince of Persia has been at war with me and I’ve overcome him and now I have to go and fight the Prince of Greece.” So, I just want you to understand we don’t know what’s happening in the Heavens. Keep praying, keep thanking – it’s on its way. Everybody say, “It’s on its way!”

The Season of the One Hundred Fold

April 27, 2013 – From The Den:

One hundred foldGod’s Spirit says, “Listen; hear Me now. I have set aside a season during the summer which shall be called the season of great harvest – which shall be called the season of the one hundred fold. It shall be called the season where people went out and they picked of the fruit of their labor.

This is a season, a time, where there will be a great harvest,” says the Lord, “where summer camps will be invaded by My Spirit, where summer schools will be invaded by My Spirit. I have set a time aside to invade schools and homes of children. I will raise them up, wipe their tears away, take away spirits of heaviness, and replace it with garments of praise, give them oil of joy for sadness, and to give them healing. This is a season during summer where I will bring a hundred fold upon My people who receive it and who declare it and who live it. I shall do it during the summer,” says the Lord.

“Out of the bitter shall come sweet; out of the bitter shall come sweet. Out of the wrong shall come right. Out of the evil shall come good. There is no loss in the Kingdom. That which has been taken from you, I will give back during summer. Listen to Me. I will give it back to you, but I shall not hand back what was stolen two times, three, five, or ten…but 100 times. If you can receive it, then do. If you cannot, then you will not receive it, for that which was stolen from you, I wish to restore 100-fold.”

I know there are literally hundreds of thousands of people that will hear this that will suddenly say, “Yes!” And if you’ve heard it before and you say, “I’ve heard that before,” remember that there are times that God sets aside to restore. That’s right, a time for war and a time for peace; a time to die and a time to live. There is a time for everything. Now you’re entering a time of restoration of your goods, your financial property, your homes, your relationships that have been stolen. “I will restore,” says the Lord. Now everybody all over the world, lift your hands and say, “I receive it! The thief came to steal, kill and destroy, but today I receive the life and the word of the Lord!”

China Is Going To Be Filled With Light

Talking about going to China: We’re about to leave for China, and whenever God sends us on a mission there are moments of despair, especially when you are a prophetic voice, because you know that you have to deliver something. Bob Cathers came here and told me, “God’s not sending you there to adopt another child, or another two children only – or to visit the orphanages or the healing homes that you support. He is sending a prophet to China as a statement to do something.”

It’s what He does. You don’t have to say a word; it’s the presence that God sends to a nation – forerunners. John the Baptist was a forerunner. I see that China is going to be filled with light. I have prophesied that for a season the United States of America and China shall be in agreement and in a pact. No, don’t look at me and say it’s not in the Bible… (Kim goes on to discuss this. See Genesis 26.).

By the way, this is one of the things He said to me today while I was praying: “I want to restore visions, and dreams, and signs back to My people in fullness.” Many of you watching are going to receive signs from God if you believe it.

“What does it mean to honor my father and mother?”

Honor Thy Parents
Honoring your father and mother is being respectful in word and action and having an inward attitude of esteem for their position. The Greek word for honor means “to revere, prize, and value.” Honor is giving respect not only for merit but also for rank. For example, some Americans may disagree with the President’s decisions, but they should still respect his position as leader of their country. Similarly, children of all ages should honor their parents, regardless of whether or not their parents “deserve” honor.

God exhorts us to honor father and mother. He values honoring parents enough to include it in the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:12) and again in the New Testament: “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother which is the first commandment with a promise, so that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth” (Ephesians 6:1-3). Honoring parents is the only command in Scripture that promises long life as a reward. Those who honor their parents are blessed (Jeremiah 35:18-19). In contrast, those with a “depraved mind” and those who exhibit ungodliness in the last days are characterized by disobedience to parents (Romans 1:30; 2 Timothy 3:2).

Solomon, the wisest man, urged children to respect their parents (Proverbs 1:8; 13:1; 30:17). Although we may no longer be directly under their authority, we cannot outgrow God’s command to honor our parents. Even Jesus, God the Son, submitted Himself to both His earthly parents (Luke 2:51) and His heavenly Father (Matthew 26:39). Following Christ’s example, we should treat our parents the way we would reverentially approach our heavenly Father (Hebrews 12:9; Malachi 1:6).

Obviously, we are commanded to honor our parents, but how? Honor them with both actions and attitudes (Mark 7:6). Honor their unspoken as well as spoken wishes. “A wise son heeds his father’s instruction, but a mocker does not listen to rebuke” (Proverbs 13:1). In Matthew 15:3-9, Jesus reminded the Pharisees of the command of God to honor their father and mother. They were obeying the letter of the law, but they had added their own traditions that essentially overruled it. While they honored their parents in word, their actions proved their real motive. Honor is more than lip service. The word “honor” in this passage is a verb and, as such, demands a right action.

We should seek to honor our parents in much the same way that we strive to bring glory to God—in our thoughts, words, and actions. For a young child, obeying parents goes hand in hand with honoring them. That includes listening, heeding, and submitting to their authority. After children mature, the obedience that they learned as children will serve them well in honoring other authorities such as government, police, and employers.

While we are required to honor parents, that doesn’t include imitating ungodly ones (Ezekiel 20:18-19). If a parent ever instructs a child to do something that clearly contradicts God’s commands, that child must obey God rather than his/her parents (Acts 5:29).

Honor begets honor. God will not honor those who will not obey His command to honor their parents. If we desire to please God and be blessed, we should honor our parents. Honoring is not easy, is not always fun, and certainly is not possible in our own strength. But honor is a certain path to our purpose in life—glorifying God. “Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord” (Colossians 3:20).
