This was written by my brother in Messiah Jeff and I just had to share it here.
The people who have so successfully convinced others that they no longer have to obey, or live by Torah, vilify YHVH’s Word by calling it ‘The Law’. They want to give the impression from the start, that Torah is something bad. They take advantage of the natural rebellious nature of man, who does not want to be under ‘The Law”. They call YHVH’s instruction in righteousness a burden, a list of laws that are impossible to keep and live by. The deception runs deep and is very firmly rooted in the minds of those who have been taught that ‘The Law’ is something bad and we must avoid it at all costs. People are taught that Yeshua removed and did away with ‘The Law“.
Torah actually means instruction, or teaching. There is a big difference between “The Law”and instruction, and teaching. YHVH gave instruction to His people, the ones that He chose, the ones that He called out, so that they would know how to live their lives before Him and be pleasing and acceptable to Him. Can we just go before Our Creator, live our lives the way that we please with no regard for His Word and expect Him to accept that? Really? People who do that are in effect telling YHVH what to do! Think about it!! How many different ways does He have to tell us that we MUST live by His Word if we want to enter into The Kingdom? Man calls it “The Law”, YHVH calls it His Torah and I call it His Love for us. A loving Abba giving instruction and direction to those He loves, so they can live happy, healthy lives before Him AND enter into The Kingdom of Elohim!
If all that you have been taught and have learned is about the burdensome and impossible to keep ‘Law’, then maybe you should learn about the instruction that YHVH gives us through His Torah. We are supposed to live by every Word of YHVH…EVERY WORD!! That is very plain and it is NOT hard to understand. YHVH said that when He gave His Torah to Yisrael and Yeshua repeated it…yes, Yeshua, the one who supposedly removed ‘The Law”. All you have to do is start studying YHVH’s Word and start comparing that to what you have been taught. See if it adds up…challenge yourself! You can live in deception, or you can live in truth. It is time for the lies to be exposed…
16 And see, one came and said to Him, “Good Teacher, what good shall I do to have everlasting life?” 17 And He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except One – Elohim. But if you wish to enter into life, guard the commands.”
Always, seek the truth…
