“Don’t be sad, because the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10
Joy is a source delight, Joy comes from the inside which is a Fruit of Holy Spirit while happiness an outward experience. Joy is an attitude of KNOWING that we ARE in right standings with God, it’s KNOWING that we have His joy because we are being obedient to Him and walking in His ways.
The Joy of the LORD is your strength with everything that’s going on in this world today, and with the adversity that’s coming against you, the joy of the Lord will give you strength to say “still, I will rejoice in the LORD, I will take joy in the God of my salvation.” Habakkuk 3:18 When you remain in His joy you will always have strength to rejoice in Him and face every adversity that comes up against you.
The joy of the LORD, is one of the Fruits of Holy Spirit you can draw your strength from Him in your times of weakness. It is vital for us to allow the Fruit of Joy to bubble over in us, so that our Christian Brothers and Sisters can draw from that joy so that it can give them strength and encouragement in times of need. We can be a vessel used by Holy Spirit to be a suppler of joy to others who does not have the strength or self will to draw it out from within.
Apostle Paul told us in Philippians 4:4 “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” So I encourage you to rejoice in the Lord ALWAYS weather in good times or bad ALWAYS rejoice, because everything works out for the GOOD for those who love God.
1 Peter 1:8-9 says “Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” What Joy it is to KNOW Messiah and what GREATER Joy it would when we see Him Face to Face!
Yeshua (Jesus) promised us that we can have Complete Joy, but in order to have it we must obey His commands, and remain in His love just as He did with the Father when He walked the earth (John 15:10-12)
Yeshua (Jesus) also promises us that we can have Fullness of Joy by abiding in Him and living by His instructions and when we do this we, we will have the fullness of His joy that our joy would be overflowing. Do you need the FULLNESS of the Lord’s Joy operating in your life right now? Well all you have to do is follow His Instructions in John 5 verses 1-11 and remember in His Presence there is FULLNESS of Joy.
“My Joy is your strength and it will give you strength to continue to keep my Commandments, to stay in My love, to abide in Me, to keep My instructions and to walk in obedience onto Me. Now allow my Joy to be your strength” Says the LORD!
My prayer for you is that YHWH, who is the source of all hope, would fill you completely with joy and peace (shalom) as you continue to trust in Him, so that by the power of Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) you may overflow with hope that can touch the lives of those around you, in Jesus name. Holy Spirit I as You to let Your joy be released in the lives of God’s people in a might way the week in the name of Yeshua and I thank You and give You all the glory and all the praise. Amen!
